We would like to remind you this call for articles opened and addressed to scholars, PHD students or any researcher who holds at least a BA degree. We are still looking for book reviews and academic articles written in English, Spanish, Catalan, French or Italian.
Conceived as part of academic research, “Forma” seeks to be a space of confluence for a range of critical proposal developed in the field of comparative and interdisciplinary studies and humanities in general, including literature, images, thought, art, history, cultural studies, etc.

In addition to the regular conditions in which we welcome texts about any field of the Humanities, in this occasion, we are also preparing a special issue with several texts related to “the Image of the Book”, which would include the following topics:
The Reality as a Book, The Book and the Power, The Iconography of the Book, The Book as a Metaphor and/or an Allegory, “The Book of Life”, “The Two Books”, The Book as Wisdom across Cultures and History, The Books and Myths, The Book as a site of cultural Memory, Postmodern Perspectives on the Book, The Frontiers of the Book, Ancient Books in the digital era, The Book and the end of the World, The Book and the Film: writing with the camera, Feminist Perspectives on the Book, Architecture and the Book, The Book of Memory, "Writing/reading the body" (the Body as a Book), The Divine Comedy, etc.
Therefore, we encourage you to submit your articles and reviews concerning the special topic on the Book, or any other subject from the fields of Humanities.
The deadline for submissions will be May 8th 2013.
The articles will be sent to our mail: firstname.lastname@example.org. The subject of the email should state if it's an article or a review and the message will come with some information about the author: Name, Title of the article/review and Affiliation. Thank you.
