Proposals on the theory and practice of popular culture in Latin America, or on aspects of its production, circulation, and consumption are welcome. Topics can include, but are not limited to artisan and artists' books, carnival, comics and graphic novels, dance, festivals, film and television, funerals, the internet, medicine, monuments, performance, popular music and art, religions, romance, social media, and many others. Case studies are also welcome.
Please upload 250 word abstract proposals on any aspect of Latin American Popular Culture Studies to the LAPC Studies area, http://submissions.mpcaaca.org/.
