The Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences at the National University of Singapore is launching a new international summer school, FASStrack Asia: The Summer School, in June 2013!

If your interest is in Asia and all things Asian, FASStrack Asia is the program for you. As the world turns its gaze onto Asia, this summer program will showcase NUS' research expertise in Asia and offer a spotlight on the region.
Taught over a 6-week summer period, students will attend classes, participate in active discussions and conduct research with academic experts to gain a better understanding of various Asian-related topics and issues. Participants have an opportunity to stay at the new, modern U-Town residential colleges which combine living, studying and playing with the latest teaching and sports facilities as well as entertainment and dining amenities.
The summer program offers courses related to China, Japan, South Asia, Malay Studies, Southeast Asia as well as Asian languages and in Economics. Some courses will feature a 10 to 12 daysí field trip to a Southeast Asian country (such as Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia & Thailand) as well as local trips within Singapore. There will also be social activities and events outside of classes for a comprehensive NUS summer school experience.
