We are pleased to announce that the University of California, Los Angeles will host the fourth meeting of the Western Ottomanists' Workshop on March 1-2, 2013 (Friday and Saturday). WOW was founded in 2010 and has held meetings in Portland, OR (2010), Davis, CA (2011), and Walla Walla, WA (2012). For more information please visit http://faculty.unlv.edu/curryj5/WOW/WOWindex.html
This workshop will provide an opportunity for both current and future scholars to gather and discuss relevant issues within the field and present current research projects on the Ottoman history and culture. We are very pleased to announce that Professor Baki Tezcan will give the keynote address. There also will be several stimulating paper presentations. Please find our schedule bellow:
