The House Divided Project at Dickinson College is proud to announce the launch of The Unofficial Guide to Spielberg's "Lincoln," (http://housedivided.dickinson.edu/sites/emancipation/spielberg),a new online resource that includes a scene-by-scene summary of the film, comparison images of the movie's leading actors and corresponding historical figures, summaries of historian reactions to the movie, and an extended essay documenting the various examples of artistic license taken in the film. The guide also includes lesson plans aligned with the Common Core and a host of digital resources for learning more about Abraham Lincoln online. The teacher's guide is part of the Emancipation Digital Classroom (http://housedivided.dickinson.edu/sites/emancipation), a major new online teaching resource for the study of Civil War emancipation.
