“Minding the Body” is an interdisciplinary conference hosted by the English Student Association at The CUNY Graduate Center. The conference presents work by 65 presenters that explore the “mind-body problem” via a range of disciplines, including literary studies, philosophy, medicine, psychology, sociology, film and media studies, and cognitive science, among others. Digital Humanities Scholar and artist Mary Flanagan (Dartmouth College) is opening keynote, Feb 28, 4 pm. Philosopher of cognitive science Frédérique de Vignemont (Institut Jean Nicod) is closing keynote with G. Gabrielle Starr (NYU) as respondent, Mar 1, 6pm, Elebash Recital Hall.
