Critiquing Culture: The Cultural Studies Graduate Conference at George Mason University is now accepting paper proposals. We encourage papers that take a cultural studies approach including Marxist political economy, poststructuralism, feminism, critical theory and post-colonial studies to investigate cultural objects. Papers may be related to the broad themes of political economy, mass & popular culture, gender & sexuality, race & ethnicity, representation & aesthetics and American electoral politics. Abstracts should be no more than 300 words and should be submitted to firstname.lastname@example.org by 15 June 2013.
