Network with the Text and Academic Authors Association (TAA) community, build your knowledge, and expand your publishing opportunities at the 26th Annual Textbook & Academic Authoring Conference in Reno, NV, June 21-22, 2013.
The conference program promises a full spectrum of sessions covering the topics of textbook and academic writing techniques, publishing, contracting, digital books, and more. Select sessions include The POWER of Writing, Challenges of Copyright in the Digital Age, Selecting a Successor to Write the Next Editions, Open Textbooks and the Power of Personalization, and Digital Book Report 2013.
Bruce M. Spatz, vice president of strategic development for Global Education at John Wiley & Sons, will give a keynote presentation on June 21, entitled, “Education, Pirates and the Expanding Universe.”
Participants will also have the opportunity to participate in small-group roundtable discussions, meet one-on-one in mentoring sessions with a veteran author or an authoring attorney, and take advantage of several networking opportunities, including an evening Networking Reception and a group trip to the Reno Aces Ballpark.
