Do artists draw as they write? This Drawing Institute symposium, held in Gilder Lehrman Hall at the Morgan Library & Museum, explores to what extent this theorem holds true, and investigates the connection between artists' drawings and their letters, as well as--more broadly--between drawings and the written word in the form of inscriptions and annotations.
This event is free. For a complete program and to RSVP please contact drawinginstitute@themorgan.org.
