Western Michigan University will be hosting a special event to reflect on the tragic events of March 2011 in Japan. Mr. Kuninori Matsuda, Consul General of Japan, Detroit, will comment on the recovery efforts. WMU students will read poetry written in English and Japanese by leading poets. And film maker Tim Graf will present the documentary "Buddhism after the Tsunami." The event is free and open to the public. Sponsored by the WMU Soga Japan Center and the Department of Comparative Religion.
