ABOUT DEPARTMENT:
Chemical Engineering Department at Institute of Technology, Nirma University is a vibrant and dynamic Department with a healthy blend of experienced and young faculty members offering B. Tech., M. Tech. and Ph D. in Chemical Engineering.
OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAMME
To ensure that faculty members are familiar with the recent trends of research and development in the area of Catalysis and catalyst development. As without catalyst chemical industry can not survive, one has to understand the advances and economy of the same.
Knowledge shared by the experts in the area will definitely helpful to the young faculty members pursuing/planning for research. Also, that will provide new era to the faculty members to work with students and can be resulted into development of new catalyst which may click the environmental issues along with chemical treatment issues in chemical industry.
SEMINAR CONTENTS
The seminar will focus on advances taking place in the area of catalysis and catalysts in various fields of Chemical Engineering as well as Environmental Design. Sessions will also include conceptual discussions on catalysts selection, catalysis and basics of reaction and kinetic engineering.
