Call for Submissions
Contemporanea. Rivista di storia dell’800 e del 900 is a peer-reviewed journal of history published four times per year. Its primary purpose is to make available the findings of advanced research, empirical and conceptual, to a large public of Italian-language readers and to promote debates on major themes and controversies in international historical research. It offers innovative new research on any aspect of history covering the period from 1750 to the present. It is committed to developing a broad geographical basis. Research on all parts of the world are considered. Contemporanea is also interested to promote cross-disciplinary insights and is open to all methodological and theoretical approaches.
Articles are published in Italian or English.

Contemporanea. Rivista di storia dell’800 e del 900 invites submissions of scholarly research or general interpretative and historiographical articles. Articles should be of approximately 10.000-12.000 words and can be submitted other than Italian or English also in French, German or Spanish,. They must demonstrate original research and must differ substantially from other published work. Proposals must include a 300 word abstract and a short cv.
