The Centre for Intelligence and International Security Studies (CIISS) at Aberystwyth University would like to invite you to submit paper and/or panel proposals for our biennial conference. The conference entitled 'The Past, Present and Future of Intelligence' will take place between Thursday 23 and Saturday 25 May 2013 at Gregynog Hall, near Newtown in mid-Wales, UK.
The 6th biennial CIISS Conference will take stock of the field of Intelligence Studies: past, present and future. The Conference will foster relationships between scholars of Intelligence Studies, intelligence practitioners in government, in industry, and amongst policymakers and commentators. This major international conference will engage with any aspects of intelligence and related fields, including:
- Intelligence and Statecraft
- Military, Diplomatic, Political, Economic, and Security intelligence
- Intelligence Collection, Analysis and Dissemination
- Counter-intelligence
- Counter-terrorism
- Covert Action
- Intelligence Liaison
- Intelligence Accountability and Ethics
- Teaching and Training Intelligence
- Intelligence and the Cyberspace
- Intelligence and the Private Sector
