St. Patrick’s College, Thurles, and the Irish Centre for Religious Education, Mater Dei Institute, are pleased to announce their forthcoming one-day symposium, The Ethics of Religious Education?
Papers are invited from a variety of backgrounds, including those with an interdisciplinary approach. However, the following areas of research are particularly pertinent: religious education, religious studies, philosophy, ethics, theology, education, politics, psychology, history and equality studies as well as the broader humanities and social sciences. Papers from graduate students are also welcome.
Abstracts should be no more than 250-350 words and should be submitted by email on or before Monday 19th March to Dr. Mary Shanahan, St. Patrick’s College, Thurles: firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include your name, research interests and institutional affiliation in your email.
