St. Patrick’s College, Thurles, and the Irish Philosophical Society invite the submission of abstracts for the forthcoming one day symposium, An Ethics of/for the Future. Speakers are welcome from a variety of academic backgrounds, including those with an interdisciplinary approach. However, the following areas of research are particularly pertinent: philosophy, ethics, theology, education, politics, psychology, law, equality studies, disability studies, medicine and nursing studies as well as the broader humanities and social sciences. Papers from graduate students are also welcome.
Abstracts should be no more than 250-350 words and should be submitted by email on or before Thursday 28th February to Dr. Mary Shanahan, St. Patrick’s College, Thurles: mshanahan@stpats.ie. Please include your name, research interests and institutional affiliation in your email.
