The Institute of Caribbean Studies, Univ of Puerto Rico-Río Piedras (UPR-RP), invites the academic community and the general public to the lecture “Las mareas y corrientes del Mar Caribe” {The tides and currents of the Caribbean Sea] by Dr. Jorge Capella, CarICOOS (http://www.caricoos.org). Dr. Maritza Barreto, Dept. of Geography, Fac of Social Science, UPR-RP, will comment the lecture. The activity will be held on Feb. 14, from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m. in Amphitheatre Manuel Maldonado Denis (CRA 108) of Carmen Rivera de Alvarado Building, Faculty of the Social Sciences, UPR-RP.
