The editors of a proposed collection of essays on prominent North Carolinians during the Revolutionary and Founding eras need a historian to write on Wiley Jones, a leading Anti-Federalist. The essay should be 6,500 to 9,000 words, including endnotes, and should focus on his contribution to the Founding, his thoughts on American exceptionalism, and his hopes for the new republic.
