Call for papers

Proposing the theme Institutions, Archives and Post-Custodial Era Information Systems, Archives International Meeting presents itself as the achievement of a project aiming to bring together Information specialists in a reflection and debate environment. The goal is to promote the sharing of professionals’ new challenges practices and experiences as well as the discussion on research in recent fields of interest. Archivists as managers have been stated in the strategic policies of organizations, in structuring of information systems and the continuous challenges of the profession. Knowledge production in technical and academic context has been addressing information professional profile and new skills. A new perspective on institutions, archival and information systems comes as a consequence of this paradigm shift. The Meeting will feature a panel of invited speakers communications and the remaining sessions for applicants under the call for papers. All interested are invited to submit proposals for communications under the following subjects:

- Information access
- Information management and preservation practices
- Social and ethical responsibilities

Communications should be 15 minutes in length followed by time for discussion
