The Western Conference on British Studies will be meet from 3-5 October 2013 in Kansas City, Missouri and invites proposals for papers or full panels on the theme of "Borders, Boundaries and Frontiers in British Studies." We envision the theme ranging from the geographic to the chronological, from the gendered to the religious, from the boundaries of class to those of nationality and empire, and we invite everyone to participate. Please send a 250 word abstract and a 1-2 page C.V. for each presenter to the program co chairs: Christopher Frank, University of Manitoba (Chris.Frank@ad.umanitoba.ca) or Lynn McKay, Brandon University (mackay@brandonu.ca). Deadline: 30 April 2013.
