Prize in social history
The call for applications is open until 17 March 2013
The prize is awarded to the author of a doctoral thesis in social history from the 19th to the 21st century in the broad sense of the term.
Conditions
The prize is reserved for doctoral theses supervised by a French institute of higher learning (alone or jointly with another institution) written during the two years preceding the year of attribution. For the 2009 prize, the thesis must have been defended between 1 January 2011 and 31 December 2012.
Amount
The amount of the prize is 2,000 euros.
Candidate dossiers must include:
1. By email and by post:
• a summary of the thesis
• Supervisory panel’s review of the thesis
• Candidate’s curriculum vitae
2. By post:
A copy of the thesis (paper and CD -pdf)
