The Global Human Rights Leadership Training Institute is currently accepting applications for the 2013 edition of the Online Certificate Course on Gender and Development Training (GDT), which will hold from 7th February – 8th March, 2013.
Course Description:
The course seeks to examine how gender identities are formed and re-shaped as a result of the development process – and responsive approaches in a variety of historical and cultural contexts. It will empower the participants with tools and sector-specific guidelines for gender mainstreaming in their various institutions and development planning. It will further improve the abilities of participants to reduce gender inequalities in their various homes, organisation and communities. Course Fee: US$300. There is limited number of partial scholarships available for applicants from developing countries, based on financial need.
Application procedure:
The deadline for application is 5th February, 2013. While full tuition payment is due on 6th February, 2013. However, applications will be accepted on a first-come-first-serve basis.
