The USC-Huntington Early Modern Studies Institute is pleased to announce our 2013 Distinguished Lecturer: Alan Taylor, Distinguished Professor of American History at the University of California, Davis.
His publications include the Pulitzer Prize- and Bancroft Prize-winning William Cooper's Town (1995), The Civil War of 1812 (2010), The Divided Ground (2006), and American Colonies (2001). He is the 2012-2013 Robert C. Ritchie Distinguished Fellow at the Huntington Library.
