The HBI-BGI Scholar-in-Residence (SIR) Program is a joint project of the Hadassah-Brandeis Institute and the Brandeis-Genesis Institute for Russian Jewry. This residency program provides scholars currently living in the former Soviet Union (FSU) the opportunity to be in residence at the Hadassah-Brandeis Institute at Brandeis University while working on a significant project in the field of Jewish Gender Studies.
Applicants may apply for either fall 2013 or
spring 2014.
The HBI-BGI Scholar-in-Residence Programs offers housing, a monthly stipend, and coverage of travel expenses from the FSU.
