seminar deals with plight of victims of various horrendous crimes against women and explores how far the existing laws are effective in diminishing the crime rate--comparison of legal provisions various countries dealing with these offenses, -whether victim precipitation has a positive role in increasing the crime rate?--What amendments and remedies are needed in existing laws--what are the hindrances in taking evidences etc. These are only broad areas and participants are free to choose any area related to it.
