The Society for Court Studies has the privilege of hosting a special guest lecture by Professor Sir David Cannadine of Princeton University on Wednesday 16 January 2013. He will address the question: ‘When did the British Monarchy become a Constitutional Monarchy?'.
The lecture will take place at The Paul Mellon Centre, 16 Bedford Square WC1B 3JA, United Kingdom, at 6pm.
Professor Sir David Cannadine is one of the foremost experts on the modern British monarchy. He is the author of twelve books, including The Decline and Fall of the British Aristocracy (1990) and Ornamentalism: How the British Saw Their Empire (2001).
