Chair/commentator wanted for a Berks 2014 panel proposal on women and sexuality in popular culture. The four papers cover Britain, Spain, and the US, with time periods addressed ranging from the eighteenth through twentieth centuries. All discuss how women, especially female sexuality or the female body, have been presented in popular culture in order to support or subvert social, political, or cultural norms.
