We are pleased to invite papers for the British American Nineteenth Century Historians (BrANCH) postgraduate and early career workshop, to be held at University College London on April 12, 2013. Building on last year’s inaugural workshop, we will provide a forum for the constructive consideration and discussion of thesis chapters, potential journal submissions and conference papers. Submissions are encouraged for individual papers from postgraduate and early career academics working on all aspects of US history in the long nineteenth century. We intend to circulate papers ahead of the workshop. In order to give all submissions due consideration, brief proposals of no more than 400 words should be submitted by 1st March 2013. Submissions should be emailed to branchconference@gmail.com.
