The application process is now open for “Italy in the Age of the Risorgimento—New Perspectives,” an NEH 2013 Summer Seminar for College and University Teachers. Directed by John A, Davis and David Kertzer, it will be held from July 1 to August 1, 2013 at the American Academy in Rome. A thoroughly interdisciplinary seminar, it is open not only to Italian specialists but to all those humanities scholars interested in linking their own work to Italian developments of the nineteenth century.
