‘Business History in the 21st Century’
Hosted by Lancashire Business School and the Lancashire Institute for Economic and Business Research Lancashire
The Association of Business Historians is pleased to announce that its 2013 meeting will be held at the University of Central Lancashire in Preston on the 28th & 29th of June. To celebrate having our 21st annual conference in the 21st century, this year’s conference theme of “Business History in the 21st Century” is intentionally forward-looking and welcomes innovative approaches to conducting business history in the new millennium.
The conference committee invites proposals for individual papers or complete sessions of 90 minutes in length. Each individual paper proposal should include a short abstract and a brief CV of the presenter. In addition to this, complete session proposals should include a cover letter with a session title and a description or rationale for the session. As always, the ABH warmly welcomes proposals for research papers outside the stated conference theme. If you have any questions, please contact Mitch Larson at mjlarson@uclan.ac.uk.
The deadline for proposal submission is 1 February 2013, and notification of acceptance will be made by 3 May 2013. Please send proposals via email to mjlarson@uclan.ac.uk or via post to:
