H-Net Announcement conference panel on rioting for 2014 OAH or AHA

Hello!

I would like to put together a panel at the 2014 OAH or AHA on rioting in the United States. The parameters are fairly broad. I'm looking for papers that stress the cultural world of "riots." Work done on police power, specific riots, vigilante culture, etc., from any era in US history, are welcome.
