I am looking for individuals to write articles to be included i a two volume work on the impact of the Great Recession (December 2007 to June 2009) on poverty in the United States as related to the following topics:

- State Government Responses (~4,500 words): the impact of the recession on state governments, particularly as related to poverty and state government responses and impacts on poverty - Local Government Responses (~3,500 words): the impact of the recession on local governments, particularly as related to poverty and local government responses and impacts on poverty - Urban Families and Individuals (~3,000 words): the impact of the recession on poverty in urban areas of the United States - Suburban Families and Individuals (3,000 words): the impact of the recession on poverty in suburban areas of the United States - Asian Americans (~3,000 words): the impact of the recession on poverty amongst Asian Americans - Political Parties (~2,500 words): U.S. political party responses to poverty during the recession - United States vs. International Impact (~3,000 words): the impact of the Great Recession on poverty in the U.S. as compared to the impact of the global downturn on poverty in other impacted countries

Contributing writers will receive a by-line that includes name and professional affiliation, online access to the complete published work for two years, and modest monetary compensation (or a printed edition of the work in lieu of monetary compensation).
