We, Peter Mauch (University of Western Sydney) and Fintan Hoey (Franklin College, Switzerland), will co-edit a special edition of _Japanese Studies_ on ‘Japan’s Cold War’. We are especially interested in works which draw significantly on recent releases of material by the Japanese Foreign Ministry’s Diplomatic Archive (Shiryōkan).
