Tulane University Office of Study Abroad announces its Cape Town, South Africa summer program. This four week program takes place June 23 – July 20. The cost of the program is $5,700 plus airfare. The fee includes tuition for two courses, equivalent to 6 hours (or 7 hours with the inclusion of the Internship Studies course), room, two meals a day, excursion fees and optional Xhosa language instruction. Courses include: Africa and Film, South Africa; A Critical Introduction, Apartheid and Jim Crow, Global Cities, Internship Studies and Expository Writing.
All courses are taught by Tulane professors.
Students are welcome on a first come, first served basis. Courses are limited to ten students each. Program capacity is limited to forty students. A 2.5 GPA is required to participate.
