The Michigan Academy 2013 conference will be held on Friday, March 22, 2013 at Hope College in Holland, Michigan (about 30 miles southwest of Grand Rapids). To have papers considered for inclusion, college faculty and administrators; nonprofit and for-profit researchers; librarians; graduate students, and others must submit a 200 word abstract through the Academy’s website themichiganacademy.org. This multi-disciplinary conference will include presentations in over 30 disciplines in the sciences, humanities, and social sciences. New for 2013 is the Mathematics Studies section and returning for a second year is the Religious Studies section. Please see the website for a full list of sections.
The Michigan Academy’s annual conference draws presenters from several states and Canada. The conference is affordable ($60 early registration fee plus the cost of individual membership for non-student presenters). Abstracts of all papers presented at the annual conference are published in our academic journal the Michigan Academician.
