Kalimat Magazine is currently accepting submissions from Arab creatives--including writers, photojournalists, graphic designers, and cartoonists--to contribute to our Current Affairs Dossier in our Spring/Summer 2013 issue. Topics to cover range from prostitution in the Gulf to plastic surgery in the Arab world. Kalimat Magazine is a non-profit, biannual publication about Arab thought and culture that seeks to provide an open outlet for political, social and cultural expression for Arabs in the region and the diaspora. The deadline for idea submissions is January 17, 2013, and the deadline for print submissions is February 1, 2013.
