Enzo Arts and Publishing is seeking original unpublished research on any aspect of the artistic and visual cultures of Asia and South America for publication within the Enzo Press monograph series.
The Enzo Press was founded to further the dissemination of research on and understanding of art from emerging markets amongst readers in the English-speaking world. Exclusively dedicated to modern and contemporary art, we accept proposals dealing wholly or substantially with artistic production after 1850. We particularly welcome proposals on previously understudied elements of non-Western art history, and are concerned to assist early career scholars in realising their work in print. We are also interested to hear from editors and conveners interested in co-ordinating publication of mutli-authored volumes and collections of research, including conference proceedings. All authors are remunerated for their work.
Monographs should be at least 40,000 words in length, and no longer than 100,000 words.
All monographs are subject to peer-review. If the manuscript has already been through any process of review (for example, if it is or is based on an examined thesis) please send details of your readers for our reference.
We can only consider material that is original and unpublished. If part of your manuscript has already appeared in print (for example, if a chapter from the work has been published as a self-contained article) please include details of this in your application.
Please send an abstract, sample chapter, illustration list and your CV to commissioning@enzoarts.com. An editor will then make contact to arrange delivery of the full manuscript for review.
For enquires, expressions of interest and further information please email commissioning@enzoarts.com.
