In anticipation of the University of Warwick's 50 year anniversary in 2015, the Institute of Advanced Study is embarking on an oral history project entitled 'The Voice of the Past'. IAS director Richard Aldrich and IAS Research Fellow April Gallwey will present the project, which aims at capturing the voices of those who have studied, worked and lived near the University of Warwick since its creation in 1965, thus opening up a discussion about the various issues involved in institutional history.
The event will take place at the University of Warwick (Coventry, UK), in the Humanities building (room H042), right next to the University Library (for information on how to reach Warwick campus go to: http://www2.warwick.ac.uk/fac/cross_fac/ias/current/networks/oralhistory/octoberseminar/). Refreshments will be provided.
All welcome but please register with Andrea Hajek or Angela Davis: andreahajek@gmail.com / angela.davis@warwick.ac.uk.
