The Near and Middle Eastern Journal of Research in Education (NMEJRE) is a peer reviewed academic Journal currently published by Qscience. The Journal is the first of its kind in the Arab World. The NMEJRE is a focused academic forum on issues dealing with education in the Arab World and the Middle East. The Journal welcomes manuscripts that are research oriented with a strong methodology and empirical results. The intent is to have Western readers in education have greater understanding of education matters happening in the Arab World and the Middle East. We would like to extend our invitation to contributors to the journal. We are looking for people to share ideas about research in the education field affecting students, systems and structures in the Near and Middle East.
The NMEJRE provides an international forum for edutionalists, researchers, and policy makers to share the knowledge and experience in the discipline of education in the Near and Middle Eastern Region. The journal attempts to disseminate applied and basic research in the area of education indigenous to the region. The journal has a multidisciplinary orientation in education with emphases on comparative educational research. Empirical studies are given priority over normative and philosophical oriented manuscripts. The journal also welcomes research models fitting in well with the epistemological and cultural models of the region. The identity of the journal is multiple but mainly indigenous to the Near and Middle Eastern region.
The journal has its own geographic perimeters defined by its title. However, the journal encourages research papers about North African countries as well as Greek Cyprus, West Bank, Gaza strip, and the rest of the Near and Middle Eastern countries.
