The Canadian Historical Association's Political History Group is pleased to announce the Canadian Political History Article Prize competition. The prize will be awarded in 2013 for the outstanding, well-written English-language article judged to have made an original, significant, and meritorious contribution to the field of Canadian political history. Eligible articles must have been published between 1 December 2011 and 30 November 2012.
The prize will not be awarded if there are fewer than four nominations; however, any articles submitted will be considered in the following year's competition. The award will be given in June 2013 at the Annual Meeting of the Canadian Historical Association at the University of Victoria.
Authors are invited to submit a hard copy or PDF of their article directly to each member of the prize committee or to contact their journal editors or book publishers and ask them to submit an article offprint on their behalf. The deadline for submissions is 31 December 2012.
