A film screening and discussion with the director, Dr. Koichi Matsuo, Professor of Japanese Folk Religion and Japanese History at the National Museum of Japanese History. Following the documentary “The Flower Arrangement Rite of Yakushiji,” Dr.’s Matsuo, Covell (Western Michigan University), and Sango (Carleton College) will hold an open discussion on Buddhism in Japan today.
