CALL FOR PAPERS:
American Review of China Studies (ARCS) (ISSN 1538-6333) welcomes submissions of original research papers and critical book reviews. ARCS is a fully referred bi-annual scholarly journal, has been in publication for over a decade, and operates as the official journal of the Association of Chinese Professors of Social Sciences (ACPSS), a non-government and non-profit scholarly organization in the United States. The journal intends to promote the interdisciplinary research on Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macao & overseas Chinese communities and to foster theoretical and empirical inquiry of China related areas.
The journalís editor-in-chief is Dr. Jieli Li, Professor of Sociology at Ohio University. Manuscript submission must comply with our policy that a manuscript has not been published previously and is not under review or consideration elsewhere. All manuscripts must be written in English and follow the Chicago Manual of Style. The main text should be double-spaced and numbered with font-size 12. All manuscripts must include an abstract of 150 words and a brief biography of the author which includes the name, position, affiliation, major areas of research and publication, mailing address, phone number, and email address.
When submitting a manuscript by regular mail, please enclose three hard copies and send to Dr. Jieli Li, Department of Sociology and Anthropology, Ohio University, Athens, Ohio 45701.
