From Monday 12 November 2012, we will be running a short, five article series on Medical Histories. We will be covering topics such as the hypochondria epidemic of the early modern period, the Spermatorrhoea panic of the 19th century, transcultural psychiatry from the colonial period and the rise of evidence-based medicine.
