Conference Theme: “Celebrating Popular/American Culture(s) in a Global Context”
Proposal submission deadline: November 16, 2012
Panels are now forming for presentations on Politics and Popular Culture in all its various forms and approaches. All types of papers are welcome, including but not limited to the following: rhetoric of politicians, politics in the news media, political satire, popular trends in politics, politics in the entertainment media, etc.
Please upload an abstract of your presentation to the conference database at: conference2013.swtxpca.org. All proposals must be submitted through the online conference database in order to be considered. Graduate students are particularly welcome to participate attend the conference and pedagogy forum. Graduate students are eligible to apply for monetary awards for the best graduate student papers in a variety of categories.
