The Society for Applied Anthropology (SfAA) and the American Anthropological
Association (AAA) are pleased to announce that Dr. Erin P. Finley has been selected
to receive the Margaret Mead Award for 2012. Dr. Finley was selected for her book,
"Fields of Combat: Understanding PTSD among Veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan,"
published by the Cornell University Press (2011). The Award will be presented to
Dr. Finley at the 73rd Annual Meeting of the Society in Denver, Colorado, on
March 22, 2013.
