Following upon the success of past years, we are pleased to announce that the symposium of doctoral students researching various aspects of Yiddish will take place again this year.
The symposium will be held on Thursday 10 January 2013 (28 Tevet), in Mt. Scopus Campus, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
The aim of the sympsoium is to enable researchers of Yiddish at the beginning of their careers to meet, exchange ideas and present their work.
Research students from all universities in Israel and abroad, as well as advanced MA students and researchers who recently completed their doctoral studies, are invited to submit proposals for presentations.
Proposals will be accepted from all relevant fields.
Presentations and proposals may be submitted in Hebrew, English or Yiddish.
