International Security/Internal Safety Regional Conference Call for Papers

The History Department at Troy University is hosting the seventh regional IS/IS (International Security/Internal Safety) Conference on 22-23 March 2013 on Troy University’s Montgomery Campus. We invite graduate students and faculty to submit paper proposals on topics that focus on military history, diplomatic history, political history, international relations, international security, and internal safety.

Submission of panel proposals will also be considered.

Paper proposals are due by 30 January 2013. Abstracts should not exceed more than one page. Submissions should include an abstract, a CV, and contact information. For panel proposals, please include abstracts of each paper, CVs for presenters and panel organizer, and contact information for all participants. Prizes will be given to the top two graduate student papers.
