21st IRED National Seminar on “Regional Pattern of Human Resource Development”

Dear All, Greetings of the Day!

With great pleasure and delight we would like to inform you that after the grand and stunning success of our previous year’s conferences, which were attended by a large number of delegates from all parts of India and abroad, the Department of Geography, National P.G. College (An autonomous College of University of Lucknow), Lucknow, U.P., India, is going to organize 21st IRED National Seminar on “Regional Pattern of Human Resource Development” during 16-17 February, 2013.

Our Previous Conferences: i. National Conference on “Global Environmental Issues: Problems & Prospects” during 19-20 February, 2011. ii. IGU International Seminar on “Land Use Land Cover Change and Agro-Biodiversity” during 7-8 March, 2008. Revised Note: (For Foreign Participants) There will be no registration fee for the foreign participants (from outside India). Accommodation, fooding (which includes breakfast, lunch & dinner) and local hospitality will also be provided with no additional charges.

Post Conference Publication

Selected papers presented in the seminar will be published in Special Volume of our refereed journal “AVANI Journal of Geography” (ISSN: 2250-3447) and an edited book entitled “Regional Pattern of Human Resource Development” with ISBN.

Manuscripts should preferably not exceed 12 printed pages or between 2000-5000 words. They should be typed double-spaced on A-4 size page with 1.5” wide margin on left and 1” on the right. The research paper should be preceded by an abstract, not exceeding 150 words. Maps, tables and charts should be in black and white only. They should be serially numbered, sequentially, following references to them in the text. The general format of the research paper should consist of : (i) Title (ii) Author(s) name and affiliation with email ID(s) (iii) Abstract with 4-8 keywords (iv) Introduction (v) Objectives (vi) Study area (vii) Data base and methodology (viii) Text-interpretation-analysis (ix) Conclusion (x) References (xi) Full corresponding address of author(s) with contact no.(s) and email ID(s). Authors are requested to submit their manuscripts on or before 28 February, 2013 at the email ID: avani.npgc@gmail.com. The manuscript should be accompanied by a declaration letter that the paper is original and has not been submitted elsewhere for publication. We look forward to your participation in the seminar. Kindly circulate the information among friends and colleagues for wide publicity.
