At its annual conference, the United Association of Labor Educators will give an award for the best paper presented by a student or a new or aspiring labor educator. The conference will occur in Toronto, Canada on April 17-20, 2013.
A UALE committee will review submissions and select 3-5 papers that will be presented on a joint panel at the conference.
UALE can provide some financial support for those chosen to present papers at the conference.
The official call for student papers can be found on the UALE conference website at http://www.uale.org/conference/conference-2013.
Questions about the student paper competition should be directed to UALE executive board member Bob Bussel at firstname.lastname@example.org.
