Elaine Sciolino talks about her most recent book, La Seduction: How the French Play the Game of Life, and shares other observations about France today in conversation with Paul LeClerc, drawing on her ten years of experience as a reporter based in France.
Elaine Sciolino is a Paris correspondent and former Paris bureau chief for The New York Times, writing from France since 2002. Paul LeClerc is the Director of the Columbia Global Center / Europe, Chair of the Columbia Maison Française Advisory Board, and President Emeritus of the New York Public Library.
