On January 15th, 2013, BISLA (the Bratislava International School of Liberal Arts) will introduce its very own academic journal, The Liberal Herald, the first issue of which is to deal chiefly with the question: “Do we want freedom?”
Answers to this question and their justifications vary from century to century, decade to decade, year to year; from East to West, continent to continent, nation to nation; from scholar to scholar, disciple to disciple; from generation to generation, individual to individual. We wish to examine a fragment of this infinitely diverse spectrum of thought.
Contributors from all walks of life, students and teachers alike, are invited to submit their abstracts to theliberalherald@gmail.com by November 25th, 2012. Individual abstracts will be considered for publication by the journal´s editorial board.
